Courtney Miller

Courtney Miller is a Fort Worth native, she graduated from TCU with a B.A. in English and a minor Criminal Justice in 2002. With a goal of being a trial attorney in mind, she earned her J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law in 2005 after interning with several different District Attorney’s offices. Attorney Miller began her career as a prosecutor in Collin County in 2006, moving quickly from misdemeanor prosecutor, to misdemeanor court chief, to felony prosecutor. In 2008, she left the D.A.’s office to fight for those accused of criminal acts by the State.

A highly experienced trial attorney, Attorney Miller has successfully defended clients accused of misdemeanor criminal acts, like Driving While Intoxicated offenses, to high level felony crimes such Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Assault of a Child. Furthermore, Attorney Miller has taught seminars for other lawyers at a number of Continuing Legal Education events, as well as speaking for Grand Rounds for the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office. She joined the Manual Diaz Law Firm in 2021 to head up felony cases in the western section of the DFW area.
