James Elizondo

James Elizondo is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, where he grew up water skiing at nearby lakes. At age 19, he joined the Army National Guard and soon found himself serving a one-year deployment overseas. He later earned his bachelor's degree in Economics from Arizona State University in 2010. After graduation, James moved to Mexico and attended the University of Guanajuato, where he studied Spanish and lived and worked for over a year. During that time, he eventually met his future wife, Gabriela, and a few years later they welcomed their first son, Luis. James attended the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law and graduated in 2022. Afterward, he practiced immigration law at Christensen Immigration Attorneys, where he helped families navigate difficult immigration matters, remain together, and pursue a better future in the United States. He also learned the importance of honest representation, clear communication, and placing the client's best interests first—even when the answers are difficult. James now brings that same commitment to his family law practice by helping clients with divorce, property division, custody disputes, child support, and other related matters. On every case, James works hard to make sure each client feels heard, respected, and clearly advised.
