Attorney Marissa Young is a native of Dallas, Texas. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2016. She also received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University in 2013 and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in 2016. During her third year of law school, she was a student attorney in the Family Law and Housing Clinic.
Marissa was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in November 2016. From 2016 to 2020 she worked as an Associate Attorney for an immigration law firm in Dallas, Texas where she primarily handled family-based petitions and applications, asylum cases, and represented clients in front of the Immigration Court and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. She is currently part of the Manuel Diaz Law Firm where her main focus is Immigration Law.
