Zelalem Woldesselasie

Attorney Zelalem Woldesselasie is an experienced immigration attorney with a diverse legal background spanning both international and U.S. legal systems. Born and raised in Ethiopia, he earned his LL.B. from Addis Ababa University before beginning his academic career as a law lecturer at Mekelle University School of Law, Ethiopia. There, he taught courses including Family Law, Law of Succession, Business Law, Employment and Labor Law, and Public International Law, while also advising law students on research papers completed in fulfillment of their graduation requirements and conducting legal research. Mr. Woldesselasie moved to the United States in 2011 and obtained his LL.M. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2014. He began his U.S. legal career as a legal assistant in a small law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, before relocating to Texas in 2017. Licensed to practice law in both New York and Texas, and he previously operated solo practice in Dallas, focusing primarily on immigration and family law matters. At Manuel Diaz Law Firm, P.C., Attorney Zelalem Woldesselasie concentrates his practice on immigration law, bringing a strong academic foundation and practical experience to serve a diverse client base.
